Meet Dr Rachel Sladden B.D.S

Rachel graduated with honours from the University of Sheffield, UK, in 2021. Since then, she has pursued postgraduate Dental Core Training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Restorative, and Paediatric Dentistry at University Hospital Bristol. Most recently, she worked as a Specialty Dentist in Paediatric Dentistry.

Committed to continuous professional development, Rachel has achieved Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (England) and remains dedicated to expanding her clinical expertise.

Rachel has a special interest in treating children and supporting anxious or nervous patients, creating a calm and reassuring environment for their care. She enjoys outreach work and providing dental treatment to underserved and vulnerable communities, most recently including a voluntary project in the Maasai Mara region of Kenya.

Rachel has moved to Nelson to make the most of the stunning outdoors that the region has to offer. Having recently qualified as a ski instructor, she’s especially looking forward to spending some time off in the mountains during the winter months!
